Artistic heritage: monuments and castles.

In the boundaries of the city of Gravina, Frederick II ordered to built this castle in 1220. it was probably used during the hunting but also as residence. As the Garagnone castle, it was divided into two levels: the ground floor hosts the servants while the first floor the royal family. During these years, the castle has been often attached and stolen of all the decorative elements. Actually today only the rectangular plan and the perimeter walls have left.
