This project has born thanks to the regional youth policy program of Apulia and it is aimed to enhance the cultural and naturalistic heritage of the Alta Murgia through the creation of a network of touristic services for the bike travelers. Practically we want to realize ten bike routes in the territory of the National Park of Alta Murgia, beside a wide communication plan having two specific objects: 1. unify the local companies under a single “quality brand” of the services for the bike tourists; 2. act a strong advertisement program using the traditional means but also the web, to promote the organized itineraries, the partnerships and the events marked by that brand. The companies which will take part of the “Bicycle tourism quality brand” will receive all the information for the promotion, the booking on-line and the training for the technical assistance.
The naturalistic, artistic and gastronomical heritage of the Alta Murgia represents a huge container of attractions for the bike tourist and it is necessary to develop what is already “ready” from the point of view of the sustainability, the new tourism and the possibility to offer a job to many youth people.
